The Annual Chapter Leader Forum is the AAFP's leadership development program for chapter-elected leaders and chapter staff. The 2025 conference will be an in-depth, two-day program focused on chapter board excellence. Attendees will connect with peers and learn from experts to develop their skills and knowledge to support their chapter's board.
To help establish positive change, the National Conference of Constituency Leaders is the AAFP’s premier leadership development event for underrepresented constituencies, including: Women physicians; BIPOC physicians; New physicians; International medical graduate physicians; and LGBTQ+ physicians.
Advancing Leadership, Health Equity, and Belonging in Family Medicine
Presented by the AAFP's Center for Diversity, Health Equity, and Global Health, the pre-conference session highlights the vital role of Family Medicine in advancing leadership in health equity. This four-hour, pre-conference session offers three distinct training opportunities designed to meet attendees where they are on their leadership, health equity, advocacy, and social justice journeys. Facilitated discussions and participative workshops will get attendees ready to stand against injustices that cause health disparities and become change agents leading the way to health equity and social justice.
